The five-seater X-TRAIL FCV is a zero-emission electric vehicle that runs in near silence. It is powered by electricity produced on board the vehicle, in a hydrogen fuel cell stack. Electricity is generated following an electro-chemical reaction between hydrogen – which is stored at 700 bar in a purpose-designed high-pressure tank – and oxygen. The only by-product is water vapour.

Nissan to Save 21 Million Litres of Water

Nissan Motor Co.’s productive manufacturing plant in Barcelona will save 21.6 million liters of water in its paint shop in 2008, thanks to a new water recycling process now installed. April 13th, Okayama International Circuit, Okayama Prefecture, Japan – Sunday April 13th, the 2nd round of the SUPER GT season was held at Okayama International Circuit in Okayama prefecture. XANAVI NISMO GT-R(#23 Satoshi Motoyama / Benoit Treluyer), starting from pole position led the race from the start, accomplishing a pole-to-flag victory, to get their second consecutive win after the first round of the 2008 season. TOKYO (July 26, 2005) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2006. Consolidated net income after tax totaled 105.7 billion yen (US $0.98 billion, euro 0.77 billion) in the April-to-June quarter, down 14.2% compared with the same period last year. The drop was due to one-time charges related to a change in Japanese accounting standards for the treatment of fixed assets and the introduction of Nissan's defined contribution pension plan.
