What are the available advanced safety features for Nissan Micra?

Nissan Micra comes standard with Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition. Other available driver assistance features include Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Blind Spot Warning.

 

The Micra is available with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, a system of advanced safety features including the following driver assistance technologies.

Intelligent Lane Intervention

  • Detects if you’re straying out of your lane without indicating. It gives you a warning, and then taps the brakes to help guide you back to the middle of the lane.

Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking

  • Monitors your speed and the distance between you and the car ahead. It can even apply the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision.

High Beam Assist

  • Automatically turns on the high beam headlights when you need them and switches to low beam when it detects a vehicle ahead.

Intelligent Around View Monitor

  • Gives you a bird’s eye view of your car and its surroundings to help you park and manoeuvre around obstacles easily.

Traffic Sign Recognition

  • Detects road signs and the displays the speed limit on the digital information display.

Blind Spot Warning

  • Warns when it detects a vehicle in your car’s blind spot area.

Hill Start Assist

  • Holds brake pressure for a few seconds to give you time to switch from brake pedal to the accelerator on a steep hill.

Intelligent Ride Control

  • Automatically applies the brakes and adjusts engine torque to smooth out your ride.

Intelligent Trace Control

  • Brakes each wheel individually for better handling around turns.
