N-TREK slots in between X-TRAIL ST-L and X-TRAIL Ti

Melbourne, Australia (11 November, 2019) – The Nissan X-TRAIL range has again been expanded with the inclusion of the Nissan X-TRAIL N-TREK – a limited edition variant based off the mid-spec ST-L grade.

Nissan X-TRAIL N-TREK will feature larger 19-inch alloy wheels, a Bose® 8-speaker audio system plus a range of Nissan genuine accessories offering great styling and value for money for buyers.

Available in a limited 500 unit run, the Nissan X-TRAIL N-TREK includes a smoked colour bonnet protector, slim line front and rear weather shields, front and rear kick plates and carpet mats to protect the rear of the vehicle (for five seat configurations) all as standard equipment.

The popular Nissan X-TRAIL is one of the country’s bests selling medium SUVs.

Priced from $38,700* the N-TREK variant is available on both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

Nissan has a strong and successful history of adding limited edition variants to market with special editions offered on Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, 370Z & Nissan Navara in 2018. In-fact, the 600-strong Nissan X-TRAIL ST-L N-SPORT, which was sold from late July last year, was a fast sell-out.

“The Nissan X-TRAIL N-TREK includes some fantastic Nissan genuine accessories that really make this vehicle standout from the pack,” said Nissan Australia managing director Stephen Lester.

“Buyers have long taken advantage of the special addition variants that Nissan has introduced, and given the popularity of Nissan X-TRAIL we expect this variant to sell strongly.”

The Nissan X-TRAIL N-TREK features a 2.5 litre petrol 2WD or 4WD engine with Xtronic CVT engine that outputs 126kW of power and 226Nm of torque.

Packed with Nissan Intelligent Mobility and other active safety features, it includes a 360 degree Intelligent Around-View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning, plus a rear view camera with predictive path technology.

Inside, the X-TRAIL N-TREK includes a 7-inch touch screen display, Bluetooth® audio streaming and hands-free phone system, digital radio (DAB+) and heated front seats. It also has black leather-accented seat trim and leather-accented steering wheel, satellite navigation with traffic monitoring, cruise control and dual-zone climate control

The Nissan X-TRAIL range is offered with a choice of three engines, two petrol, including a 2.0 litre and 2.5 litre, and the 2.0 litre turbo diesel. The 2.0 litre petrol has outputs of 106kW and 200Nm, the more powerful 2.5 litre boasts 126kW of power and 226Nm of torque. The diesel variant outputs 130kW and 380Nm.

Available with two transmissions, a 6-Speed Manual and Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), X-Trail comes in both 2WD and 4WD, while fuel economy figures for petrol models start at 7.9 litres# per hundred kilometres and 6.0 litres# per hundred for diesel variants.

Available in seven contemporary exterior colours including Marine Blue, Copper Blaze and Ruby Red, there are three interior seat trims option available.

Nissan X-TRAIL starts from $29,890* for the 2.0 litre petrol with 6-speed manual, while the diesel range begins at $36,690* plus on roads.
