In order to determine if your Nissan has an active recall or service campaign you will need to know your vehicle identification number, or 'VIN'. Your VIN is a unique 17 character serial number that can be found on your vehicle (such as the passenger side door sill) or in documentation (such as registration papers).

This VIN Checker does not include vehicles affected by the Takata Recall Campaign, to check if your vehicle is involved click here.

Recall Campaigns are conducted in the New Zealand Market where there is, or may be, a potential safety concern. In some cases they are also conducted where there is a regulation non-compliance.

Service Campaigns are conducted to address certain technical or customer issues where there is a high number of reported concerns.

Both Recalls and Service Campaigns are conducted at no cost to Owners in terms of parts and labour.
